Well there is hope. I’m not going to promise you that a magic cream will take away your stretch marks in a day but it is possible to drastically improve your stretch marks, making them virtually invisible. It is difficult to completely eradicate your stretch marks but it can be done. Prevention is the key but if you are like millions of other women you already have them and just want them gone!

There are several home remedies for removing stretch marks and they all involve making some sort of cream. You can either make your own stretch mark removal cream or you can buy a stretch mark removal cream. Either way the cream needs to have the following ingredients:

1. Aloe Vera – Aloe vera has been medically tested in several clinical studies and proven to have a positive effect on healing wounds. It also has anti-inflammatory properties. 2. DL-Penthenol - DL-Penthenol is the scientific term for pro-vitamin B5. It has been shown to health damaged skin and improve the structure of the lower and upper layers of skin. DL-Penthenol soothes skin and stimulates cell growth. This vitamin helps regenerate the skin, therefore reducing the appearance of existing stretch marks. It replaces the scare tissue with new skin cells. It also prevents stretch marks by promoting collagen and elastin production so your skin can stretch without stretch marks appearing.

3. Grapefruit Seed Extract - Grapefruit seed extract is a natural antibiotic used for several issues. It helps heal damaged skin by restoring damaged collagen and elastin, which strengthens and gives the skin new texture. Collagen and elastin are responsible for skin elasticity.
