  • The tube is on the small side but a little goes a long way. With just a dab it stains your lips a blood red – very bright strong color so you probably shouldn’t buy this for a 5 year old. The color is only going to work if your lips are bare – this is NOT a gloss to go over lipstick b/c it disappears. If your lips are chapped it will sting a bit because it has a minty taste to it. If my lip venom ran out I would only buy it again if the price was lowered to approx $10. I liked it alot but I also don’t wear blood red lips on a daily basis but still a fun item esp. if you love Twilight and want to add it your Twilight collection.

  • This little vial of “venom” is high on the cool factor, and considering how expensive makeup is these days, even the price is not excessive when compared to other high-end lip color. I was surprised by the tingling sensation one feels when it is applied (the effect fades after a few seconds), but again, just part of the gimmick, and after all, that’s what we’re buying it for, right? I was a little concerned about carrying a glass vial of color around in my purse, so I keep it in its case, which adds some bulk. Be aware when counting the cost that the actual vial of lip stain is only a little bigger than one of those freebie perfume vials that department stores give away.

  • I bought this product because I thought it looked really cool and unusual. I thought that the price was pretty high, $16, but I thought that I would try it since I saw it in a magazine. Well, when it arrived it was TINY! I mean, so tiny that I thought it should have been made out of gold for the price I paid for it. It does sting a little when you put it on and it smells a little bit like cinnamon. The color is not flattering, unless you are a 10-year-old girl. The bottom line…don’t waste your money on this trendy product.
